The price range for the used and new Trikkes runs from $60 US to as much as $500 US for those with a motor.
With Trikke, Safety Should Come First
Before riding a Trikke, it would a good idea to check out some sites run by enthusiasts. Just about all of the fans recommend wearing protective gear like you would wear for in-line skating (helmet, elbow and knee pads, and wrist guards). They also recommend starting slowly as the side-to-side cambering motion takes some getting used to. Several recommend the vehicles for people with knee issues. However, all have said that the Trikkes are not easy to take uphill. The Trikke also has a recommended weight limit of 250 pounds.
