Keith Urban's Early Years

Keith was born on October 26, 1967 in Whangarei, New Zealand. He later moved to Caboolture, Australia with his parents, Bob and Marianne, and his brother, Shane. Keith began singing when he was six, and by the time he was eight he was already winning local talent contests.

The Move to Nashville and The Ranch

He signed his first record deal with EMI in 1990, and recorded his first album, which included four #1 hits in Australia.
